Tarka`s HiViz Challenge...Tuesday 30th November !!

Please, stop spoiling the thread, I'm sure there are other threads you'll find far more interesting :)

Its for a brilliant cause and we've raised quite a bit of cash with Tarka, sadjim and Glynnj's help. Thank you guys for making it happen :clap

BTW chaps can I have your permission to use the film and some of pics please. I have an idea which may well raise the cause a little more ;)

Thanks Karen. :thumb2

Just spoke to Paul G about this 'other idea' and I don`t mind at all but it would be worth asking Sadjim and GlynnJ as technically it`s their material.

I think if it goes anywhere else that the reasoning behind it should be explained, namely my love of dayglo/hiviz,daytime lights and the 1200GS. :D

Keep us posted. :thumb2

No its going on the UKGSer just giving page Badger which is then being transferred over to the team Movember page later this week.. :thumb2

its good to see u have raised loads of money. did u put on your normal riding gear on for the ride home after u filmed the video

I donated money for this to my own Movember page. Hope that's ok.

Tarka achieved everything expected and more. 1200? Check. Hi-viz? Check. Silly questions? Check.

But having a comedy haircut especially was, quite simply, above and beyond expectations and requirements. I thought having a moustache made me look silly. I now realise I have bene trumped - Tark's haircut is truly silly.

Eh?

"Normal gear" ??

You mean that I should normally be wearing other than that shown ?? :nenau

:D

Yep..I put the Challenge gear over my usual stuff...but what I wore for the Challenge was bought by me and is for wear by me when I`m with a few nutty Ural mates who are in "A.G.A."
- The Association of Gentlemen Adventurers - We intend to travel and attend numerous rallies fully clad in 'correct apparel' as befitting a true gentleman.
Tweed suits, waistcoats, fob watches, assorted hats from Deerstalkers to Trilbys and Hombergs, spatted shoes etc etc. :D

Sitting here with a glass of red and busting myself laughing. Top result Tarks.

Just so as people know ('cos he'd never tell you), Mr Tarka is one of the most decent, kindest, bang-up blokes you could wish to meet.

But he does look rather fetching in day-glo :hug

:D

Well done Tarka, who'd have thought this would come from that night at Welland when you 1st received the sash.......

Nice one mate, I doff my cap to you....top bloke :thumb

And well done to all the Tossers who donated money to this worthy cause :beerjug:

So then........Tarka challenge part 2.........Mankini in the snow in front of the Liver building.........(ok snow may be a problem) :D

Well done Tarka, you are completely bonkers as usual and a great sport :bow
I have donated 10 squids to Movember at work (some horrible moustaches it has to be said! :eek) and another squid in the pub in Carlisle (quite a magnificent effort by the landlord of the King's Head :ymca)

A worthy cause, and you looked a complete twat - excellent!
:hug
