European insurance cover

Just checking to see if anyone has recently looked into extended European motorcycle insurance.
Current quotes (ie standard policy) includes 90 day cover, 30 days per trip. My problem being this summer I have need to extend both the 30days and 90 days/

AGS and Highway are the two insurers, but I have been told by broker that Highway can be difficult to deal with regarding any extensions to the 30days.

I am based in Northern Ireland, insurance renewal in a few weeks.

Any intel would be appreciated.

Indeed, without an EU country’s passport, you’ll very probably need an extended visit visa. I haven’t looked too much into these as yet.

You can probably get ‘extended’ conventional motor insurance for periods of longer than 30 / 90 days but that doesn’t help you with the visa issue.

It’s all just another benefit of Brexit and the cutting of red tape….. oh, wait minute, here’s another hoop to jump through.

not if he has an Irish passport
