Hall Sensor Timing box

Pass a feeler gauge across the air gap in the sensor.

The LED should change state if your control box is wired correctly and the sensor is working.

Just done the feeler gauge and the LEDs do go out.

Thanks for the response, as I'm now a happy bunny.

Maybe I should have checked the Clymer manual to check whether the rotor triggered the signal with a notch or a tab

(Just checked the manual and sure enough it's a notch).
