Hi I'm a new owner of an 1100rt 1999 with 29k on the clock. Hoping to do as much of the maintenance as possible myself. Looking forward to learning as much as possible.

Welcome. You’ve done well to find a ‘99 RT with only 29k, it is, as they say nothing for one of them. I used to look after one for a friend. They’re good to work on, your first problem may be seized fasteners . Take care loosening stuff off and use copper slip putting things back together. Enjoy
