I damaged the orange button on my left hand indicator switch years ago and it has been happily if somewhat untidily been held in place with a small piece of gaffer tape.
It now difficult to switch on and takes some repeated fiddling to actuate so probably time to replace it does anyone have one to sell / trade or know of a current source ?

regards
Richard

Motor works sell them. I just replaced mine - they came as a pair with screws in oem packaging for about £13 IIRC

EDIT. That's for the 1100, maybe you have an 1150?

I had difficulty with my LH indicator paddle / button part, not that it was broken like yours, but the actual momentary switch behind.
With the orange button removed, it qorked fine, all the time, with the orange button installed, not so well at all.
I got some thicker than thin, but thinner than thick tape and put it behind the electrical switch part to make it a little higher.
If your switch has been working ok, albeit a little broken, but now it is not, that could maybe contributing.
