Techlusion and missing cat code plug

Hi All,

SO after finally getting my exhaust on as I wanted it (remus Y pipe and end can, baffle left in) and fitting an K&N air filter, I went to fit a techlusion R259. (Bike is a 53 plate 1150 GSA)

In the instructions it states "You must have the OEM “Cat Code Plug” installed, and the Throttle Position Sensor must be set to BMW specification for this device to function properly"

I don't have a cat code plug.

Am I better off using steptoes mod instead of the techlusion, or should I jumper the hole where the plug should be and then install the techlusion??

Any thoughts?!

Leave the coding as is. i.e. nothing.

And dump the K&N.
