The power socket thing .. was it not standard?

I can't find the power socket thing on the side of my bike.

Was it not standard :blast or am I not looking in the right place?

I just gone and bought a BMW charger for a lot money for nothing :blast

My bike is a 2005 model

tucked up behind one of the subframe tubes on the L/H/S under the seat.

It's in a stupid place.

Look on the left hand side, just past the battery, hidden by frame members and the seat. If you get right down and look up with a torch you will see it hidden in the recess.

I've had 2 1200s (standard and ADV) and know exactly where it is, but still sometimes have difficulty in finding the exact place to plug in my BM charger!
