Cut down Std screen & water on Garmin 2610

I've a cunning plan to cut down the std screen and get more of a breeze for the summer, 'cept my 2610 on its migsel mount will be a bit exposed to our warm summer rain. Should I be worried about 70mph rain entering the rear of the the 2610?

I'd not be worried. IIRC the 2610 is water resistant for 30 mis at 1m pressure. Ie it's waterproof in normal usage.

Why not just lower it via the adjustment knobs.

Gents Ive just come back to the GS fold...... Im looking for the attachment to hold the Garmin 2620 to the handlebars, ive got the cradle that powers it but cant find the other bit. Anything else out there other than Touratech? websites please. Thanks ART
