This is the very same bike that you eventually got hold of, very much in need of some TLC.
It's what it looked like before the long trek home from Morocco on the back of a truck
So that,s what happens when they roll of the senter stand,s:eek:
THANKS ROY.that photo reminds me it looks a bit better now.
I think i should do a write up of this?
we have named it FEZ :D

Here's another view, I guess that's one hell of a stoppie :D
The name should be "Tinerhir" as this was where it happened on the road to the Todra Gorge, not FEZ. Got a picture of the incident if you want it.
thanks roy, wildebeeste and jon.I will start a new thread soon i think.
this is an interesting story to some.

Have either of you (Colt/Blue Sweeper) or previous owner..........got the bent front wheel
I want a Front & Rear hub for a F650GS/Dakar and discs/sprocket
Reason ...............
I'm going to build a pair of good hubs (from trashed wheels) into some tasty Excell anodised rims and h/d spokes
I had all the parts with this i think:D except for the steering bearing in the first picture.
the wheel,disc,bent rather too much.
I kept the hub though, not sure if i would risk putting it on a rebuilt wheel though after the damage the wheel and tyre had.
i may know someone with hubs though ;)
regards,jason.
ps you really need those lovely talon hubs.
