View Full Version : A question for RAM man
I've got a RAM-HOL-GA15 for my Quest. I want to use it on my pushbike. What's the part number for the handlebar mounted ball as I don't need to buy the whole mount again? I had a look at the RAM site but couldn't find the ball mount separate from the cradle.
Cheers
Dick
Sir will be requiring this (http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/ram-b-231z.htm) part. I would tell you how easy to find it was but I already know what a lost cause you are Dick and I won't add to the pain ;)
Dick, the Judge is right (as always !)
The RAM-B-149Z has three parts, RAM-B-231Z, RAM-B-201 and RAM-B-238. You can use the google search on RAM UK or look in the accessories section on the sub menu pop-up box, B size 1" balls will do nicely.
RAM-man

nah!
1" balls are boys' toys!
A grown man needs something bigger.

Yep.. largest is D size, 2.25" dia .. but the E size is coming its 3.375" dia and uses a 420 ton die cast machine with tooling to make 'em.
To misquote cricketer, Fred Trueman if you've got big balls, you need a big hammer !
RAM-man :D

Ah, that'll be the one I want. Dunno why I couldn't find it. I blame advancing age and a recurring nightmare vision of a bunch of tossers bouncing up and down on a plastic dummy :D
Cheers
