Morning/afternoon/evening everyone.
Just thought it was about time I signed up to this forum.
Bought the 1150 ADV June last year from SPC then stuck it on a plane mid Aug to start my RTW trip. Called into the US, Canada, NZ, Oz, South Africa, and Swaziland. I got home last tues (365 days later) having covered over 47,000 miles in 9 months (take out 2 months for moving from country to country and 1 month working). 2 punctures, 8 rear and 6 front tires, one speeding ticket in NZ, 0 crashes, lost count of 'on the dirt spills', one broken finger.
Time of my life, just got to sort out what to do next????

I've got to find a photo hosting site for some of the 2000+ pics I took. As soon as thats done i'll work out how to add them on here.
I think I should have said.......Back living with the old man in Swanage as I sold my flat in Ringwood to finance the trip.
I wrote a diary on an 'msn group' thing and they will soon be rehashed into an article to be sent to some of the bike mags to see if I get any takers.

Find a good job with plenty of overtime to pay off the credit cards I expect :D . Nice one Whiter Rabbit. Look forward to the photos.
Do you intend to keep the GS as a momento of the Trip?

Can't recommend www.smugmug.com highly enough, loads of people on here use it. Unlimited storage, and easy to link in pics. Use this voucher code GheFnxV3U6N7g for $5 off the annual fee of $29.99 and it nets me $10 off mine next year too :D (well, I am Scottish)
Good luck with the book, and really looking forward to seeing the pics..
