Had one new: NRT 71P. I think it’s still out there. Couldn’t get a demo on one at the time. Coming then from a Norton Dominator 99 the Honda felt a little gutless unless you screamed the nuts off it. Moved on to a 750 F1.

400/4

Has any other production bike turned an exhaust into something so pretty? Can't think of anything that comes close, personally. :thumb

My mate popped round on this yesterday. An American spec' Kawasaki Samurai 250/stroker/rotary disc valves.

I've seen many a Samurai, and ridden a couple, but I've never seen a high piper...I know that lots of American spec' bikes were like this, but nevertheless, I've never seen a high pipe Samurai.

Starts and runs perfectly at 49 years young.

I acquired this 1961 Greeves 32DC today. A stablemate for my 1961 Greeves 24MCS.

Nice one Sherpa.

We see the Villiers single engine everywhere, but not so much the twin. How does it ride, what's good/ bad about the twin?

It rides surprisingly well. Fairly smooth with top speed about 75-80mph but it’s happy at 60 really. It handles really well and the brakes leave a bit to be desired as you might expect.
This one is a 32DC with the 325cc engine, only about 230 made. It’s similar HP to the 25DC 250 but more low and mid range.
