I was talking to a guy I know yesterday who told me he paid £50 for a Black Bomber 25 years ago and still hasn't got around to picking it up :duno

It is still undercover at the house he bought it from !

I've offered to double his money and relieve him of the hassle of picking it up :D

Believe it or not, I bought a B-BOMBER parts bike three years ago and never got round to collecting it either. The reason for this is - the PO passed away a few weeks after the deal was done and I just never pushed making arrangements to picking it up, the family knows of the sale but I feel now too much time has gone by. The V5 is in my name.

Bit of a Honda fan?? :D

Is that a Black Bomber?

You could say I’m a black bomber fan but I’ve come to realising I don’t have time to finish this one.

Probably not the most sought after old bike, but I couldn’t resist this due to its originality, condition and, most of all, price.

Very nice, I had 4 X 250 Honda's starting with a CB 250 T ( dream ) then 2 X 250 super dreams, ending up with one of the last of the original breed a CB250N DB Deluxe in 1981.
Enjoyed them all & all trouble free..

Hi Ash, don't think it is an original factory colour but it does suit the bike. Agree firecracker red is the proper colour , I've had two in red over the years.

Yea still scares the shit out of me over 6 grand. But grinning all the way:D

Beauty all the same & something different from the norm + tastefully done :thumb

I just love to see a bike of that era with its original pipes, an un-butchered rear mudguard etc. Lovely.

I agree with Jonnie C - this thread is a real treat. All those fantastic bikes that seemed long dead, alive and well, lovingly tucked away by caring owners. Unbeatable.

After about 40 years of hankering after one I’ve finally gotten hold of an H2. Had an H1 in 1979 as my daily transport. I’ve only been out on it once so far and coming off modern bikes it’s a very “interesting” experience!
