Show us your Classic M/C

This is my other bike, 1993 R80rt.
20170325_111943.jpg

Spent some time on stripping it down and nursing it back to health winter 2016/17. Paint work is original, was going to have it resprayed but it was just too good and wasn't sure that a respray would be as good as the original.

A few of my modern classic - still with me, and living in the kitchen while the garage is being altered:

Puch VZ50 , i had its cheaper brother MS50 v seized it up riding down the horseshoe pass. Stripped the head off oiled it and set off again , all at the side of the road. What a great intro to motorcycling 3 speed clutch , brill.

My original one cost £160 I seem to remember and I did 12000 miles in the year before getting my Yamaha YDS7 at 17. The Puch was totally reliable with a few punctures being the only cause of breakdown. As you say brill..! This one has cost more than it’s worth to restore but it had to be done..!

My trusty Bantam trials

Have you just built it? It looks too unmarked for a trialser.

Be a shame to chuck it at the scenery.

To be honest Dean, the photo is a few years old now, just after I completed the rebuild.

I did chuck it at the scenery though :):)

I don't know if this is a classic, but it drives like one for sure.
454 ltd. Fun to play with. I traded a bottle of tallisker for it. Had to clean the carbs and coat the tank.
Did appreciate the boxer layout when had to check the valves or clean the carbs.

Are you doing the Haworth trial in January?

There were some lovely classics there last year, an Ariel 350/500 in particular

Unfortunately Steve, my trails riding days are over, due to dodgy (enduro damaged) knees :(:(
