Let us know your recommendations for your favourite biker food drink stop, a GPS waypoint would be good.

The cafe in Slaidburn next to the car park - it's a one street village on the B6478 betwenn Gisburn and the Trough of Bowland in Lancashire - the best bacon buttie in the North :thumb2

wtf is "knott end cafe" or "rivi barn" for that matter. :)

Map,look at,for Knott End and for Rivington :D

Clues...

Knott End is near Fleetwood but 'over the water' from it.

Rivington is south of Chorley and north of Horwich, east of Adlington and west of Belmont.

'Rivi Barn' is normally the name given to 'Large Hall' or 'Large Barn'.

Any day is good but Sunday is best.

theres the midway cafe on the a49 as you head down towards whitchurch............

Inglesport Cafe, Ingleton

Hey Folks,

coming from an outdoor-ie background, I can fully recommend the upstairs cafe above Inglesport in the middle of Ingleton.

Tracey runs a superb cafe, with "tiffin" and "cavers' breakfasts" a speciality.

For those of you with dogs, there are even "Wobble Sausages"

Cracking spot - enjoy.http://www.ukgser.com/forums/images/smilies/aidan.gif

Skipton Market

A right lovely bacon buttie van on Skipton Market - opposite the Library, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays ! Yum

Broxton Truck Stop/ Picnic Area on the A534 Broxton Road right near where it crosses the A41 at Broxton roundabout near Chester on sundays.
The real Beef Burgers are fab !
Plenty of Bikes there around lunch time especially when the sun's owt !

The cafe in Hawes (Wensleydale valley) is a good coffee stop. Mainly frequented by the RR boys but it's a great atmosphere and fantastic roads/views to get there. If you are approaching from the south, a good route in is via Settle (Naked Man cafe = good butties and coffee), and Ingleton (see recommendations above). Just watch out for the unmarked police bikes.

Cheers, K.

The Bowsuns Locker at Roa Island near Barrow. Fabulous home cooked food- the meat and potato pie was too big for the plate and my chips were in a separate bowl. Fabulous. And very cheap. Well worth a visit.

Had a great traditional english breakfast @7:45 on a Sunday morning on the high street in Bala.... Remarkable given that nothing else opens till lunchtime..
Can't remember the name but just follow the big line of canoes, mountain bikes and GS, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Aprilia, Ducati and other owners..:clap

Top butty van in the car park at Chester Harley-Davidson - just off Junction 10 (Cheshire Oaks) on the M53.

Hang on, what's that funny little portacabin at the end of the car park? :augie

The Wizard - Alderley Edge Cheshire on the B5807

They do great bacon butties and there is plenty of parking beside the cafe and in a dedicated car park.

Also another one to look out for is a cafe on the left as you ride up to the Cat & Fiddle pub from Macclesfield on the A537. I'm almost certain it's the last bend on the left before you make the final climb to the pub. They do great breakfasts in there and they have an open fire as well. :thumb2
