Nearest railway station to Market Drayton?

I've got to pick a car up from there next weekend but the town doesn't appear to have a railway station - I'm travelling there by train.
What is the best station to go to so as to be as close to Market Drayton as I can?
I'm travelling from Lincoln via Derby

You'll most likely end up at Shrewsbury.

It did have a station when I first went to live there!

Coming from Derby, probably best somewhere in Stoke on Trent or preferably Newcastle even Whitchurch which is only around 14 miles away or as suggested, Shrewsbury.
You can get a bus from all those to Drayton.
