Bar for the R75 I dont have a clue what era the other 2 are from but I was open jawed at their immaculate condition

1930's

1st one is R12, 2nd one R66

Must get out more.......

Bit of a thread resurrection. Spotted this old beauty in Athens today....can't get the pic the right way up due to my crap phone and ouzo.

When you look at the old side valve engines you can see how they made sense. I wonder with modern technology and electronics would they ever make a comeback? After all whatever they loose in efficiency they must make up in simplicity and lightness. JJH
