Nice looking bike.
I got one of these last October, have recently overhauled it and it now shares the garage with my Stelvio NTX and R100gs. I also used to have a blue Tiger 1050 for a few years which I ran alongside my GS1150 and first Stelvio.
I'm loving the ZARD and I see you've even changed the carbs

Here's my '99 Trophy 900. Such a great bike to ride and just the right weight for a proper tourer. Certainly as much fun to ride as my FJR was, and just as reliable. Sadly it will have to go this year as my Tiger is going to be my main bike for trips abroad now.

Yes, but I can't keep bikes as "investments", though the right bike would have done much better than other investments over the past years.
From the shiny thing in the photo, I rode it until it was dirty, stone-chipped and rusty in places. Then I cleaned it up for sale, but dropped about £500 over what I'd spent on it.
£500? Bloody bargain for the joy it gave!
The missus used to love riding pillion on the Trident, but not on any other bike. About 5,000 rpm seemed to do the trick

The MK1's sound fantastic when fitted with a 3-1 Sebring, Remus or Yoshi
Sold it to buy a bloody GS, what was I thinking.
