Can you imagine spending all that dosh on a bike like that and then sand blasting it with pure salt :eek: ;)

I know, it looks terrifying............like the famous pic in my avatar. This is a guy in 1948 riding a Vincent black lightning prototype on Bonneville sands wearing nothing but a pair of trunks, canvas shoes and a shower cap!:eek :eek: He reached 150.3 mph :eek: Can you imagine what would have happened to his body had it all gone wrong:bow ...........incredible !

I know what happened to my body at sub 30MPH, let alone him & I had all the gear on. :(

But when we do these daft things we tend not to think of the consequences :blast should the shite hit the fan..
