Random Guzzi Shit

I am happy with the gear change heel/toe but I am not so happy with the foot brake arrangement.
Just looking for ideas.

OK - did not realise later Cali had heel / toe arrangement for rear brake ! .... sounds weird .................

Sorry - i looked but did not see. (Twat Og!)
BRAKE / not GEAR set up. :blast
.. and i still cant find the pic of the set up i'm on about for the brake. :(
However,
if you take the footboards off and replace with a footREST - a 'conventional' pedal should fit easily. :thumb2

Went I went to the factory open w/end last year they had one of the buildings full of ' odd / different / shite Guzzi's.
Some were smart but others total shite.
Eye of the beholder & all that.. :thumb

If ever you’re lucky enough to see one of those engines in the flesh......they are amazing little things, beautiful to look at and beautiful engineering.

Andres

Yes they are, on both counts :thumb2

Some of Guzzi's engineering is fantastic especially from a small factory on the banks of a lake in a tiny Italian town.
Especially given that for a lot of the time financially they were in dire doodo...
Some of the lovely touches on the older bikes is superb.

I was well impressed with the build & engineering on the Convert.
Take the side stand locking mechanism, simple but effective, I presume some of the other 70's Guzzi's had it like the California etc..

Ha, beaten to it :beerjug:

I was just looking for some photos I took some 10 years or so ago. First the baby V then some other stuff......not all great pictures but a nice record of my only visit to the factory (on a BMW :( ).
