This bike had a lot of attention at the Moto Guzzi Quota treffen rally in Carlsberg Germany today.
Capo Nord bodywork.
1400 California engine with Stelvio running gear.
My old V65 Lario with aspirational trainee rider... fairing came from specialist supplier in Milan.
What a bike that was... can't believe I sold it.

Saw this on Sunday at the Lincoln steam rally. No idea of the model, the book said 1959 and the owner wasn't around.

Awaiting the delivery of my new to me (65 plate) 1200 Griso SE today. Sad news is the 1100 Griso is going in P/Ex, Private deal. The guy spent 6 mnts looking for a 1200 sport Corsa and couldn't find one so settled on this very nice very low mileage Griso. Law of sod, 10 days after purchase a very nice 1200 sport Corsa came to his attention so he bought it.
Don't know if he intends to keep the 1100 or move it on. They are definitely going up in value.
Awaiting the delivery of my new to me (65 plate) 1200 Griso SE today..................
Enjoy! I loved my old 1100, they really are good looking bikes and such a hoot to ride.
If you're interested I've a set of adjustable height rider pegs that I keep meaning to sell. I got them shipped in from the States and, for me, they made a real (positive) difference to the riding position.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm a Guzzi guy and find it hard to see anything else in my garage now.
