here is a photo of my K1200R sport I have just brought it after selling my 2015 GS and 2017 S1000R needed the money for other ventures but this bike rides great and I don't miss the newer bikes
This has only 13000 miles on it and is a 2008 model think I shall be adding to that a fair bit as I average at least 8K a year.

Bought new in 1999, still got her (alongside the GS) - can't bear to sell her... This pic was taken around 2005.

And before it's last MOT:

That looks a nice clean bike Terry

It is very clean, and rides really nice too very comfy quite looking forwards to some summer adventures on this, about the only thing I feel is missing from the newer bikes is a quick shifter, so think I will be adding one to this and all will be well.

I miss my K1200RS (like MartinK's, except in the faster dolphin blue). I traded it in for a brand new R1150GS and, while I enjoyed that GS and the subsequent 1200GS, I still remember the feeling of my first big BMW...

The K1200S was a bike I rode for a test and loved, except for the riding position. It led directly to buying a K1200GT a short while later, and then the current K1600GT.

Funny how one bike leads to another...

If ever you want to sell it, let me know...

I've had a K13GT and a K13S so put me down as a K bike fan, but this is in a very special ugly class of its own! Catches the eye, for sure

I can't resist an original (red or blue) K1...

Absolutely the most bonkers late 1980's BMW style icon, and a fantastic motorcycle.

Enjoy!
