Coming too

MasterDabber and me are turning up: not sure if by car or bike but we'll be there! I think Uncle Albert said he will be coming too.

Bob

Going down to see them off tonight from cardiff.

taking the car so does any one want a lift ?

leaving cardiff gate area at about 5pm:D

there had better be crackling there:D :D

got all the stuff together for tea wagon. we'll be there about 7:00 hopefully :)

ps. a passat shaped parking space near the grub would be handy ;)

Well the boys have made it as far as Portsmouth, and when I left them about 2020 (as I have to be up at 0400 in the morning to go to work :( ) they seemed in good spirits - although a bit chilly.

Hogroast and tea-wagon going strong, and more arriving as we left - just wish we could have stayed longer (and got colder :D )

You didn't miss too much. Party began to break up around 9 when the chuck wagon went home.

Nice to see faces again - hope you all thaw out before the New Year,

Iain & Jane

Had a txt from Bill (Fanum) 06:16 this morning,

"Onehour sth of cherbourg stuck as no cc for fuel trying to flag down a frog to exchange cash for card rofl" :D

They emptied the tank after one hours driving   that Landy must be one thirsty beast.

Not a single card between them????

who planned that ??

just think how much fuel its gonna use off the beaten track:beer:       (thats fuel not beer!!!!!)

Sounds more than a leak, one hour say at 70 mph max if they lucky = 70 odd miles done? That is not a thirsty beast that is riddiculous:D

Single figure fuel consumption nice !!! know why he had so many cans on the roof now then;)

Or did they leave the uk with a half or so tank as fuel is cheaper that side of the water? hope so!
