Is that a single or a twin Ash? The 'G650' badge is so confused now I can't tell what is what anymore...F650 but 800cc and all sorts of madness in the model names!

Happy new bike day :aidan

Let the farkling begin :D

Thought you were just having the xc and no more other bikes :blast

I wasn't :augie :blast

But I miss that extra power, smoothness & above all it was an utter bargain..

Other than pannier racks / standard hieght seat I have everything..
( until a bargain pops up 4 sale ) ( it's an affliction with no none cure.) ;)

Guy listed it 4 his son but didn't know a fing about it.. ( son is now working abroad )
He thought it had panniers, so a nice wedge came off his asking price. ( it dose not )
But he didn't list all the extras including -
BMW chainlube system. ( branded scottoiler methinks)
Engine guard - BMW
Dataged.
Front Fender extender - Wunderlich
Rear Fender extender - Wunderlich
Handgaurds + extensions
Vario screen
Footbrake extender - TT
Gear change knob thingy
Indicator cancel button guard - Wunderlich
Kaiko cruise control knob
Rectifirer guard
New Metzler Road tyres may 2018 & done less than 25 miles.
Full BMW service history.

He didn't now it was the SE version.

Plus I'm a sucker for a yellow bike... :D

F650GS Twin 800cc

The G650 in what ever gize will always be a single (unless they have plans for a new model.)
The F650 GS can be a single or twin.

1993 to 2007 its a single. 652cc
2012 G650GS Sertão single
From 2008 its a twin F650 - 795cc
From 2013 its a F700 - 795cc
From 2018 its a F750 twin - 853cc

2007 XC - X Challenge - X Moto - singles - 652cc
2009 XC ( yellow )

The 2009 XC's was the only makeover that any of the three models got.
They used engines still made from parts manufactured by Rotax in Austria, but they and the entire bikes were assembled by Loncin in China.

265 mile trip up to Aberdeen . Bike did 223 miles before warning light came on - the joys of an XL X Tank

Funny how things go & how things turn out.

First piccy 2014
Had owned the 650 GS but owned the XC.
I bought the 650GS in blue & paintman ( http://www.ukgser.com/forums/member.php/1010041-paintman) did a cracking job of painting it in SE colours, better than BMW did with their colouring as mine was lacquered whereas BMW's isn't & the black rubs off where your gear rubs it.

Sold that XC because I thought I could manage another 1200 :blast

Second piccy 2018
Different bikes, both mine.:)
Bought the XC late last year.

I only sold my 700GS because it was just too tall for my busted body, I was flickibg through the sale adds on here when I saw a low rear shock & sidestand for an F650GS for a great price.
So i hatched a plan to find an older / cheaper 650GS & lower it, I was looking through Autotrader very late on a Monday & a 2012 650GS SE had just been listed at a bargain price.
Almost seems fate had a hand in my purchase. :D

Just spent two weeks cleaner her up & adding Antivibration Risers, lower footpegs, pannier rails & a few other farkels..

Miles on the sat nav at the end of the day.... I had to resize the picture first, and it was on my phone, so a right convoluted process!
