Happiness is

A dear friend gave this rear brake fluid reservoir for my 700GS, but didn't fit.
Found it in my spares box yesterday.
Fits the XC a treat...

Finishes it off nicely...

Ordered a 27 mm box spanner for rear Hex nut...

Its a 26mm I hear you say :blast

Well fear not as I have 2 KTM rear axle nuts, part no. 50310099000 27mm.

That I bought from Premier Bikes Oxfor when I had my last XC..

The rear replacement will need 5 mins on a lathe, but front goes straight on...

As per piccies ..

3 xChallenges out on the trails

Had a ride out on the trails of North West Wales last weekend; stunning weather and scenery.

Couple of pics below, not for the scenery, more the uniqueness of having 3 xc's on a ride.

Happy days :D

On mine i had an ac90 front, and a maxxis rear; there are better tyres more suited to this bike but they were old ones i was just using up.

That is a rare sight. I think an owners' meeting was suggested many years ago on this forum, but I don't think it happened.

A trio of Xc's.... :clap :clap :clap

Just added to just under 4 litres of extra fuel to XC.
Would of liked the X tank set up but just too expensive for what I need.
Got to change a couple of Allen bolts next time I go to the garage as it came with USA imperial bolts & I wanted to change over to Metric... Will be locked to bike obviously when I leave it anywhere..
£178 a in if you but it all in the UK...
Mine cost £115 all in as I have dear friends who bought the Rotopax parts back from the USA or me.. :thumb2

Rotopax now do a 1.5 US Gallon fuel pax or 1.24 imp gallon / 5.6 litres.
So easy to add more fuel if needed..

New baby top box for the XC.
The Hepco box I have is really to big for the bike.
30 Litre..

I think the GIVI 30 Litre top box is better suited to the XC..
The 55 Litre Hepco & Becker top box was too big & heavy..

Nice 4 hour ride out today - up through Kielder Forest , past the reservoir , over the border into Scotland and up to Jedburgh . Coffee break then ride back home - nice and relaxed , don't think I went over 65mph
