Count me in. I have no idea what I'll be doing in October but wouldn't want to miss it.

Our plans have changed (again) so we should still be around for this - pencil us in.

What time are people planning on getting there on the friday? Hoping to be there between 4-5 pm on the friday :beerjug:

I may be there earlier. I've got to mess about for reasons I'll explain over a beer, so I may be over in the car, put up the tent etc. then reappear with my mate with our bikes later on, as he's got to finish work then travel up from Birmingham.

My work here is done.

Thanks

Thanks for organising Mike
Had a good ride out Saturday,in the soft caring hands of Tuftywhite even if it was a bit wet but still ended up dehydrated through lack of TEA
Good meal at night and a large side order of bollocks spoken

Yes cheers Mike for sorting it and to Tufty for the ride. Fish and chips superb :beerjug:

What did happen to Arkwright ?:nenau

As this was the first time I have organised a ride for a group, I have learned a lesson. I will endeavour to provide a tea urn for refreshment whilst underway, which will also double up to provide urinary relief too. Although, if you didn't drink so much tea, you wouldn't need a 'rest' stop!!!!!

Thank you for putting up with my bimbling speeds.

Unfortunately, Mr Arkwright lost us. I believe the sat nav route I provided may have recalculated between the waypoints where he dropped off the back.

He will confirm that he did the entire route, however, due to his local knowledge of the area, I think he got in front of the group (especially as we waited for him) and did the whole route in front of us, hence not finding us again.

I'm sure he will be on soon to recount his adventure. It's a shame he didn't make it around with us, but I reckon he was having his tea before we had ours.

I'd also like to publicly thank Mr. Nimrod for lending me the Sat Nav I used yesterday.

Without it, I'd have been even more lost.

Thank you very much.

Thanks for arranging the weekend Mike and thanks to Tuffywhite for the excellent route and ride.

Saturday ride = wet. Saturday night in the pub = very wet

Cheers guys always good to meet up for a laugh and talk bollocks at which i think we excelled :thumb
