Sorely tempted - brand new 2012 models going for less than £8K.
What are they like in the real world?

I had a test ride. Great engine, handles well but I couldn't get on with the position of the pegs due to a wonky knee. Shame as I was quite keen on the bike.
After my recommendation a friend has bought one for commuting, largely. He rides it between his weekday digs near Swindon into a London office, his main home in Leeds and to visit family in Belfast. He is very happy with the bike after 6 months.
