I have the de cat headers on the way in time for the re map but would like an end can as well so without spending sill Akro money what is a good alternative ?

Well...........whilst I've obviously never had one, I reckon the Remus is the best looking aftermarket can. Size, shape and lines are just right for the WC. The Akra is fecking hideous if you ask me.

However, speaking as somebody who nearly always bungs end cans on bikes I actually really like the look of the standard can and it certainly sounds good. If it were me I might be tempted not to replace it (actually, that's bollox, of course I'd replace it :D).

However, if you follow the link above, wouldn't you be better just getting the bike in the 2nd picture and be done with it? :D

I have an Arrow can with the all black finish. Cost if I remember correctly was £350. Nice piece of quality kit.

Not the black version but can be seen here <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zBWQSEDXftk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I have the very Remus from Giles in the picture. It is excellent and sounds great. Not too loud when around town but fantastic under full load.

i had a carbon canco on one of my previous bikes[oval titanium] a fraction of the weight of the standard can and a nice sound[until the baffle shot out somewhere down the motorway] think it was 150 new with the link pipe.

Dario , thanks for posting that .
It does remind me that the engine sound has to be he weakest element of the BMW package. (imho)

Arrow :) sounds fantastic, perfect fit and less than half the price of the Akrapovic

Comes with a front and rear db killer insert so you can play around with the options to get the sound level you want. With both baffles out it is very loud, but I've put in the front baffle and sounds great with a nice deep bark and pops and bangs on closed throttle, but also quite enough when on motorways not to drown or give you a head ache etc.. :thumb

no matter what you buy you'll wish it was an akra:D beautifully made, great sound and if you sell it, you'll get your money back..nearly:blast

Somehow a termignoni on anything other than a Ducati doesnt seem right to me. Tbh i think the standard system sounds pretty good when giving it the beans, it was turning heads nailing the bike up the futa pass last year.

You need a Termignoni :bow
Managed to get one in titanium from Italy for £420 delivered and it looks and sounds fantastic :drool

Keith
