Hi Folks,

Owned my R1200gs for around 18months and really fancy a delve into the offroad side the bike has to offer. So i see that the courses available are down in Wales from beemer, and i saw a place down in Inverary. I wanted to ask if there was anyone aware of courses no matter what bike in the North of Scotland that could be recommended as a starter.

Since i have no offroad experience im loathed to go down to Wales in case i dont get on very well, so for a start i wouldn't mind knowing if there is anything closer to home to give a try.

There is - Motorrad Central in Dalkeith now have their Central Park where they offer "Dirty Demos". https://www.facebook.com/MotorradCentralCentralPark
They also have quite close links with Simon Pavey at Off Road Skills and sometimes organise weekends away to Wales.

There's also Moto Scotland at Inveraray - http://www.motoscotland.com

Aye Schtum thats the one i saw in Inveraray but was hoping for something closer to home.

Cheers anyway, not sure what Joe is on about with the fiver???

Yep did the course last weekend 1day with Clive and it was brilliant, really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Button moon did you do the one day then go back and do the two day course, if so what like and what was covered second trip?
