Finding fuel stations isn't a problem. The only time we've used our spare fuel has been to help another motorcyclist. You might not have to be fussy about the grade though. No experience of Scandinavia, but some of the more remote fuel stations in Eastern Europe and Russia (particularly) often only have 80 and 92 octane.
 
Fuel stations in Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark and Norway) sell civilised fuel, Finland, too.
