There's Carbon Fibre, and there's Carbon fibre!
Whilst it may look the mutt's nutt's, Its totally impractical.
True Carbon Fibre parts are expensive, you need a propper mould and autoclaving techniques for it to work.
It's also very rigid. Given theres sod all room in that area, and from experiance you have to flex the cover to get it on / off, this puppy will either
Not bend- or flex because its super rigid or if it flexes it will more than likley crack and allow water into the weave.
Not knocking you for finding it Bendy, but i'd stay clear. (I worked with composites for some years, there's good and there's lets say not so good
