The benefits (flaws?) of buying a training school bike. Green laning on the weekend near Stratford.

Better than going to the gym

Picked her up Friday!

After 18 months doing loads of miles on an RT LC I've ended up coming back to the dark side.

This is my third GSA and WOW what a bike. Easily the best GSA ever and the riding position, compared to the RT, is pure FUN

Taken at Lawers Dam above Loch Tay yesterday. :)

Had a look at Loch Tay and the missus is impressed by the location. Loch Tay Highland Lodges looks like a fairly decent place to stay and the Loch is perfectly placed for day trips out to explore rural Scotland. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem :thumb2 I stayed down there for a week a couple of years back at a place called Morenish House which is a few miles outside Killin. Lovely area, three of us had our bikes there and we had a few trips out. The loop from Tyndrum - Connel - Glencoe - Tyndrum was a great way to spend an afternoon. If you want a day off the bike an option would be Highland Safari's out of Aberfeldy. Feel free to PM me if you want any more info.

I've visited friends who own Tralee Bay Holidays for many years. A couple of years back we took the bikes up and found it to be an excellent base for rides out. The lodges are well priced and the owners son's race BSB so very motorcycle friendly.

Bit of a wimp so not keen on riding in crap weather hence the photo of the old girl after a winter deep clean.

No comments about the state of the garage please.
