Feels good to be back on one...

After 14 years, (two 1150's and a 1200) I decided to have a sabbatical on a Ducati.. That lasted 12 months! Great bike but just wasn't me. It was also two small for comfort, two up.. Feels great to be back on a GS again..

I wasn’t sure if it’d look as good in the real world as in the press shots, but the Rallye does look great. If I’d been buying a year later I’d probably have gone for one over the GSA, though admittedly the ridiculous tank range is very nice to have.

The fuel light is coming on at about 130/ 140 miles at the moment.

I don't remember my last GS being that low, so am hoping that the remap will sort that out.

Well stop wringing it's neck everywhere and you'll see 57mpg on the clocks

That's not the fuel light, that's the Engine Needs Changing light. :aidan

You must be relieved that you now have a reliable bike in the garage for when the Beemer is being 'fettled' !

Just needs a trip to the top of the hill now...

Akra fitted... Whole job, from panniers on to panniers on was only about 15 minutes (because I had a cuppa half way through) and yes, it sounds good!

Big Zulu

Nice three day bimble around Anglesey, checking out wild camp spots.
Night 1 got the bike stuck on the beach at Porth Cwyfan - silly fecker. Need to learn how to switch all of the electronic trickery off. Moved on to Penryhn Bay, pitched up, in what was now a pea souper and set my clock by the feckin fog horns on Irish ferrys :aidan.
Night 2 after a day exploring every nook & cranny of the north coast got a tip off to pitch near Penmon. Turned out to be a picnic spot with fantastic views across to Snowdonia. It also turned out to be the local shagging spot for the boy racers and their unfortunate girls for the night. All feckin night.
So in 72 hours got 4 hours kip...but it was worth it for riding and the views. A little picture of big Zulu looking across to Snowdonia.
