GSA Spotlight 2009

After I broke one of mine I bought some metal spotlight protectors, quite sturdy little numbers and I've not broken one since,
You can see them in the photo below,

Take them off and store somewhere safe. Go to eBay and spend £20 on a pair of yobbo brand LED spotlamps. The U5/U7 type have a powerful narrow beam and some even have a halo ring around the main lens. They are literally cheaper than replacement bulbs for the OEM lights - nearly anyway. ;) You tube shows how to disable the silly flashing light function on these lights.

I bought two pairs. Two years and two winters later, one pair is looking ropey but works fine. The other pair is still unused.

Ive got HID's in them so I need to keep them as they are. Replacement part arrived today.

For the sake of £20 a pair you can keep the OEM goodies in a safe place and use disposable spotlights on the bike. As said mine have lasted 2 winters and still going strong and my OEM lights are unmarked.
