This September we are riding from Santander through the Picos then to Pau and along the west coast of France ending up at Ouistreham to catch the ferry back to Pompey.

On my satnav you can pick/find places interest near your destination or current location and I was wondering if there is a website/program you can use to identify places of interest along our route.

We have previously visited many of the WWII sites, Bayeaux, Manor Museum at Loheac and would hate to miss something special.

Thanks

Download the ViaMichelin app.

Create your route in it (easy to do) and you'll see a row of buttons at the bottom. These include, things to see, hotels, fuel, weather.... Works well on an iPad. What's more you'll get free Michelin maps, which you'll be able to zoom in and out of.

Whilst you are there, you can download the free Michelin Travel app too.

Better still, buy the Michelin Green Guide books.

Thread started in April for a jaunt in September. No news or views from the OP since then.
