This is normally a very popular event in Lincolnshire at RAF East Kirkby, The guys wheel out their Lancaster Bomber chock the wheels and fire-up all x4 Rolls-Royce Merlin V12's.. at fairly close quarters to the public.....A Totally Awesome sound and a moving experience.
Entry is a fiver, I believe that the money goes towards the restoration group..a good cause.
Think there is a band on...normally a huge attendance of bikers, weather may have an effect on riders turning up, but I'm told (today) that rain or shine the Bomber will be struck up.
