Just found my back tyre flat in the garage, so called the BMW emergency cover number. They are conveniently recovering it to Cannons BMW tomorrow at 9am, will I get my pants pulled down and my botty smacked getting the tyre replaced there?

Would you trust a repair on an S1000rs Rosso corsa, it's only done 1500 miles!

Don't know about dealer tyers but it's a fair bet that they will be dearer there. Probley won't want to fix it either throw up some bollockx about not been able to fix z rated tyers or other nonsense. Fix it yourself and ride it. That's what I'd do. JJH

It'll be dearer...mine got recovered to dealer as I was away from home. We couldn't repair it so went to dealer. £195 for 1 rear tyres and a bike wash...

Why didn't you remove the wheel yourself in your own garage and take it to a tyre specialist yourself?

They would have repaired it (if it was possible) or fitted a new tyre a lot cheaper than a main dealer

BMW Assist for a flat tyre, at home????????????:blast

It would be worthwhile checking the tyre to see if you can spot the culprit and fix it yourself with a plug.

It's a new to me bike it's not a GS (obvs) and I don't have a suitable stand. Yes I have been a Jessie.

Phone a tyre shop for a price, then phone your dealer for a price BEFORE they fit the tyre. Negotiate first.:rob

Lol - buy a stand & you would pay for it with the money you save on a rear tyre - dealer v tyre place :)
