My son is trading in his F800GSA on friday for a white S1000XR.
Could you please advise on the mods you done, the bling you have added and if
any of the mods are , in your view, essential.

Thank you all very much.
Pics would be nice.:beerjug:

nothing is essential but the HP levers and rear sets are superb ( bloody expensive mind you )

I have a Mivv high level can on mine and that looks very good and didn't cost the earth like the Akra does

I have also removed the the pannier frames to tidy the bike up and the rear pegs for the same reason.

Everything is bling really as the bike is just super straight out of the box

enjoy it as it is …..

Pretty much :thumb

All I've added is the Evotech rad & oil cooler guard which I think is essential. It's a big, very exposed, rad !

And a set, high & low beam, HID's from Les Wassall cos the lights are sh1te

It definitely needs a 'big foot' for the side stand. Don't ask me how I know this :blast

Other than that it's all bling & there's heaps of that available from various sources if his pockets are deep enough...

The only essentials are a wrist movement limiter (or spare license) and a grin controller (to much grinning combined with the wind can cause irreparable damage to muscles which control your serious face).

Make sure you bag a blast on it!

I think the Mivv can looks just right on the XR and sits at an angle that suits the bike so much better than the standard item, or most of the aftermarket cans I've seen for this bike for that matter, if I owned an XR I'd get a Mivv, spoil us with a picture Rick g'wan........

Ohh yes I like it in those colours and the exhaust looks perfect

Evotech Guards are deffo the first mod.

mine also has wunderlich rear hugger, mra tinted screen, cymarc bar ends , givi hand guard extenders, givi rear luggage plate.

Why make the bike look like everyone else's blinged up tarts handbag?

Just do you own thing...

You do need a throttle restraint before the apex limiter or it will bin itself. Trust me, I cannot tell a lie.
