Thanks for the advise Tadhg, think it's supposed to be dry enough in the next two days, relaxing here after a fine tagine, nearly 200 km today, an awful lot of twisties, I'm on the R203 now in a small village called Talat N'yaaqoub, cheap but clean lodgings for the night, terrific food, Essaouira was fab, 4 nights more that enough, didn't have the energy to move yesterday, few pics from earlier today to follow

Shipping the bike to Malaga with Overlanders is a great option to avoid the long slog down. If you're not Patzx12

It would be a long haul to Malaga true enough . I like the idea of heading out from home as small group there and back again although if time was a constraint overlanders is the way to go for sure

Depends what you want I suppose. If I wanted to do Morocco I wouldn't want to waste at least 6 (hard) days of my precious holidays transiting down & back. That time spent in Morocco would be much more fun.

Barcelona to Cherbourg is two not very interesting non-motorway days for me
