I just want to give a massive thumbs up to Kev at KRF Motorcycles. He has moved from Norwich to a small village just south of the city. Kev is a BMW specialist and knows them inside out.

He did an amazing job on my TC GSA for its 12,000 mile service. He gave the bike a complete and detailed front-to-back sorting and even the brakes were stripped down and cleaned. Much better value than a dealer and highly likely a better job too.

I have no connection with KRF apart from being a very happy customer. Do consider using him.

He sounds very similar to Paul at the workshop on York. I do wonder whether these trained mechanics/technicians, when they work in main dealers, dislike the time driven services where they have x-minutes to do a certain task even if an extra minute would really have a huge benefit for the bike (properly cleaning brakes/calipers being one of them)

Didn't realise Kevin had moved... where to?

Awesome, was hoping to find an decent Indy garage for my TC (just bought it 3 weeks ago), Ashwellthorpe isn't far at all for me :) thanks

Don't suppose you have his new number or has he kept the 01603 number that is on yell?

Hiya, do you mind me asking how much for a 'big service' ? I'm in Huntingdon and am looking for somewhere fairly local, but am prepared to travel for a well regarded specialist.

Best to give Kev a call and he'll talk you through it. IMHO I think you'd struggle to find a more knowledgable independent BMW expert in the region.
