My first restoration

Last June I bought this - a 1967 Triumph TR6R and have slowly started the restoration. It has certainly suffered at the hands of a bodger somewhere in its past.

The main bearing was "glued in"! con rod nut (left hand) was interesting, and god knows what they did to the cylinder block.

Last pics are of the frame ready to go to powder coating and restored engine cases. Should be starting the rebuild in the new year.

I love a good build thread, even it only serves to highlight my deficiencies :blast

Did you catch the metal worm that was eating the bike from the inside ?
