Bought this today

So, found a few hours today and had a little play.

I wasn't happy with the wrap on the front pipe so re did it. Now I'm not happy with the back one...:augie

Fitted the new grips, oil pressure switch was leaking, bought a new one (£14) then on looking at it decided it was easier to remove the oil filter to get at the switch, the oil filter was loose, its not the switch leaking it was the fcuking filter...:blast

I will fit the new switch anyway as i had an issue whereby it didn't come on at all so its going on.

Sissy bar mount and pannier support hoops removed..

Looking better already..

How about throwing a hard tail on that thing? That's what I did with mine if you fancy any tips?

Never ceases to amaze me how people love to 'have a go' at Harleys, most of the opinions are formed in front of a keyboard and screen though.....

Quite sad really....
 
Like me, some do have a Harley Davidson (2010 FLHTCU). But I don't worship it. Faults on it have cost me money so, I have the justification to make a sarcastic remark, joke, complaint or any other foible that comes to mind.
Still got my 1150GSA for serious discussions :).
