No, I don't need one but rather than continually moaning about shit service I thought I'd give praise where due.

A couple of months ago I ordered a set of 4 indicators plus stems for my old H2 and finally decided to fit them along with a new headlight yesterday afternoon. When I unpacked all the parts I realised that the stems don't come with nuts and they're not standard M10 :blast

I phoned up the supplier at 3pm to order a set of 4 nuts and the supplier said they'd put some in the post free of charge. Fast forward to 10am today and they're on the doormat at home waiting for me to fit them :thumb2

The supplier was Z Power Ltd in Leigh, Lancashire and I've used them quite a few times previously with good results at prices that compete with any other supplier.

Andy glad you got good service, they are just down the road from me and like you I get next day service. The main sales guy I speak to on the phone is Phil and after four years of buying bits for my KR1S I met him last week at Stafford. Top man
Steve

I got all excited as i've yet to find a UK supplier for the new Turbo project, they seem to stop three years too early at 1980!!

They do parts for newer Kawasakis as well, I just posted the link that I've got bookmarked.

Happier now?

oh FFS.....please stop posting these things ,,,,,,

One of these days I'll record it running then bung it on YouTube but that still wouldn't get the full 2 stroke smell that's just as much a part of the experience.

Earlier this year my wife and I were out for an afternoon jolly and after stopping for fuel I'd parked it up at the side of a garage out of sight of the pumps while I had a smoke. I didn't realise a group of 4-5 bikes had stopped to fill up and according to my wife they all stopped dead and looked around wondering where the noise was coming from when I fired it up :D

Not a classic like andy's h2:green gri
More a tribute bike to my yooof.
The bike I would have had at 18 if i hadn't crashed bashed and thrashed the one I did own ( 4 times) before it was stolen:comfort
Also if I hadn't blown all my money on sex, drugs and rocknroll :D:D:blast
Coming along nicely:clap

If such a thing as 2 stroke candles existed I'd burn them every day of the year.

I've fitted the standard headlamp and brackets and I've got a standard air box assembly to fit rather than the bloody horrible K&N filters currently fitted but the big problem then will be jetting it and the idea of doing a full throttle plug chop on a 42 year old bike doesn't have much appeal. The pipes are Higgspeed GP ones and apparently they're designed to run on stock jetting if used with the original air box but stock jetting was never right on Kawasaki triples when they were new and it's not just a case of going up a size on the center carb, you need to play with the needle positions as well which is where it's easy to get it wrong.

Is that Kawasaki in your workshop Mikey? I might be off work next week and need to come and pester you about all things single cylindered so I'll have a stare at it when I'm up there if things work in my favour regarding time off.

a few pics of my brothers classic kwaks he has a restored S1 250 as well
