What will happen on the 6th November?

Depart Ace Café 10:30 - 11:00am to Downing Street to hand in the ‘STOP ESCALATION OF MOTORCYCLE THEFTS IN LONDON’ Petition. Six bikers enter Downing Street for No. 10, while rest support in Whitehall.

Then ride down through ‘Parliament Square’ to Abingdon Street Gardens for speeches, press and photographs.

Disperse approx. 2pm.

Sign the Petition
Why not sign it now?
It’s inside Ace Café on the bar. Ask Mark (the Owner) if you can’t see it.
It’s easy just your Name, Address and Signature.

The Ride
We are hoping for a Police Escort. We are using the Cornerman System to keep together.
We have two members that volunteered to marshal, more appreciated on the day.

The route to Downing Street:

 Turn right onto N Circular Rd towards Hanger Lane

 Take Western Avenue and Westway/A40 to Westbourne Bridge

 Turn right at the Landmark Hotel into Montague St

 Take Park Lane, through Hyde Park Corner

 Follow A302, along Victoria St

 Through Parliament Square into Whitehall

 Bikes support handing petition into Downing Street.

Speeches, Press and Photographs
Ride down to Abingdon Street, park up opposite the Houses of Parliament and Old Palace Yard. Go to Abington Street Gardens to hear and present to Dr. Leon Mannings of TfL.

I'd lock my bike up at the Ace cafe meet

If I was a thief, I'd be heading there because there will be a lot of expensive bikes there, some will be keyless with their owners standing the vicinity and I could just hop onto a selected steed and be away before anyone realises

Rich pickings:D

A taxi driver told me yesterday that the protest group that wear the anonymous masks are protesting this weekend in London. This always turns into trouble and lots of roads get closed.

If not already done suggest recheck with police for corridors etc
