I think dealers pay about £70 per dot, whereas a private sale is £100 per dot

I think if you plan a foreign trip and then cancel it, that adds £1,500 to the selling price

I am amazed the number of people who buy a brand new GS/Africa Twin for £11-16k and then have their trip cancelled. Either more money than sense, or there was never a trip in the first place!

I've just bought a 2010 LWB Vivaro. Finding a good van, on a limited budget, now that's a challenge. Let the conversion begin. Shame funds won't allow me to keep my GS.

For only 12,000 miles and looking at the rust spotting on rear subframe/corrosion on barrels etc, if that is worth £6250...........mine s worth £10k
