Laguna motorcycles, Maidstone.

If it's the 990R I was out on that last week

Nope it's not that one. It's the RR7 'Blade in Repsol colours. There's some damage to the engine casing that would require it being changed.

I haven't set a specific goal, but I do want to do something next year. Whether thats a TDF climb, training camp, sportive ... I'm not sure. I've always been into mountain biking but quite a few of the lads at work are mamils, who commute in. So i've succumbed, bought myself a specialised Roubaix and have been properly bitten by the lycra bug! Structured training five days a week .. ! Its going well, longest ride so far has been 62 .... !

Good man. Keep at it. Sportives are great fun. I put my name down (& paid the entry fee) to do the Etape next year but the hotels in the area have been block booked by a firm in conjunction with the TDF organisers & they're sub letting them at stupid prices that I'm not prepared to pay so I'm going to have to forfeit my place (& money). I will do it some time though......

this is the last few weeks! I'm trying to split my training into three camps - efficiency (grey), threshold (amber) and high intensity intervals (red) ...

Also, have a look at 'Kent Motorcycles' in Barham. They're a good (honda) dealer and offer a good service :thumb2

Keep up the good work and you'll be able to pedal to Dent :beerjug:

I'm in the George and Dragon with her indoors. (and maybe the dog ... )

I see we've managed to turn Timaloys thread from Laguna m/c's to cycling and now Dent ....

Excellent work .... :D

My mates son works in their Aylseford (Honda) branch. I remember when they started as a one man band selling second spares just off the Broadway in Maidstone. Another mate crashed after leaving their workshop because they hadn't tightened the caliper bolts on his SV650 .

Cheers all for your help. I've decided against buying the bike as the salesman (who was thoroughly decent to deal with from start to finish, Chris was his name) advised me that the fairing on one side of the bike differed slightly on one side from the other, colour-wise.
He did say it was a minimal difference but without seeing the bike it's not a chance I want to take.
