Motivated by tunners progress I thought it a good idea to get some done on the beast today
New pushrods,and rocker upgrade along with new rocker shafts,
New adjusters as well ,
And shimmed up to spec
so basically whole new valve train,keerrrrching,
At least it will be nice and quiet,I hate noisy valve gear.
In my enthusiasm I forgot to take a snap prior to fitting covers
Nice set of slips there

Sort rear brake
Sort seat upholstery
Brake hoses once I have front mudguard

If things go to plan I aim to have 5 or 6 bikes at the airhead gathering at Lincoln,
We may attend the bike shed type of events but I kinda begrudge paying for the privilege,
At the end of the day the whole hipster type of show is more about liberating as much cash out of people as possible.
Folk paying to show their bikes to people who are paying to look at them,whilst paying stupidly for a skinny flat latte with sprinkles
I feel sure this bike would get a lot of interest,
Not so sure about my off road bikes,
That said the LDT bike was over at a local tank fabricator who is more into the
“ scene” he loves the bike.
So who knows
I quite like the idea of just building a bike and seeing if someone wants to buy it,
When someone has a fixated idea about what they want it normally ends up either being hard work or turning out not to be any good
