Easy to remove the Ai and if you diode the electrical plug that goes into the little black airpump you can junk that. You need to diode it so you dont get a fault code..if you remove the airbox with the ramair kit and the o2 sensors you can get a remap from Triumph twin power and that will factor in those parts and you wont have issues...

Errr this is a carbed bike :augie

All this...

All this gets junked, tidys up the undertank area, and it gets rid of the poping in the exhaust....

Slow progress

So .. I started by saying I wouldn't let my OCD take over .... but with each part I take off I have to decide replace or clean & paint .... so far I've not bought much :thumb2

Been removing bolts and clips to either paint or polish ... very therapeutic :D

I can't believe the rust and crap everywhere ... frame is ok ( cleaned and touched in a few bits ) but swing arm is a mess .. so that's going to be powder coated

Tank has gone to be prepped and still working on final colour .. waiting on test cards

Wheels I'm stuck with ... so will take advice

Few pics ...

Ideas... like this type of colour scheme .. not the bike

But especially like the writing .... Triumph motors ... or something similar

Ahhhh ... my eyes!

Late 60s Bonnie is the way to go. After all, the bike is almost there. Spend some cash on a decent tank / mudguards spray and pin striping and end up with a proper nod to this ...
