CLicking on links in threads

Before this problem whenever I clicked on a hyperlink in a thread it would automatically open that link in a new tab.

Now, when I click on a link it just opens up another copy of the thread page that I am currently on :nenau

So, at the moment I have to highlight and copy the link, open up a new tab and paste the url into the address field and press enter.

So what has changed? How do I rectify this?

It's an option in your browser settings. The config depends on the browser; do a web search for "[Browser name ] open link in new tab"

Alternatively :
- highlight link, right click mouse, select "open in new tab"
- highlight link, click mouse scroll wheel.

Tried that, it opens a new tab but it opens a replica of the page I am on rather than the page in the linke

Same thing happens with me and I have checked my options but the funny thing is it only happens with some links not all :nenau

I run Kaspersky antivirus and get this when I set Private Browsing.
Have you got data collection blocked (private browsing) in your antivirus program?
I enable data collection for this site and the problem is solved.
