Yip glad I have plenty of memories of when it was empty........the petrol pump at Durness had a glass jar on the top, and there was a ferry at Kylesku :) 1983-4 I think?.. they were building the bridge 1985? It was open:)

Great report and pictures :thumb2

Very enjoyable reading and pics! we were in Applecross with our car (silver 320) on your Autumn trip, we had a wee blether (chat) outside your wigwam and down at that braw Inn. I have crossed the Applecross pass over 100 times now, every time is just like the first. The trip back over the pass was fantastic, just as you have illustrated with your pics. Really enjoyed our blether about you & yer Dads new AT. I do like them. See you both somewhere on your/our travels.

What an Absolutely fanfuckingtastic read...... and your pictures do, do it justice, I'm lucky enough to have visited most places on your route, pat yerself on the back sir :clap
